Xcalak Community Engagement Project
2024 saw the evolution of our partnership with The XFlats. The Xcalak Community Enrichment Project now brings year-round programming to the village utilizing the new Esperanza de Vida, Xcalak’s new permanent community programming center. In addition to English instruction, there is arts, music and conservation programing for the entire community, all supported by YDCCF. This grant is also supported directly by The XFlats through the Lodge Partner Program.
Going forward, each year we will be offering a weeklong opportunity for youth engagement for families interested in having their teens make a direct and meaningful impact in this special community. It’s another way YDCCF seeks to directly connect anglers with the communities they travel to. For more information, please reach out!
